Summer Breeze Century Update

Unfortunately because of the construction going on at Our Lady of Mercy School this summer, the site of last year’s Century, and the fact that SARAH and Mike Cohen couldn’t find a suitable new site, the Century will not be held this year. This doesn’t mean the end of the Century. Mike assured me that there will be one in 2009. For those members who volunteer each year and receive a discount for the SCCC Winter Gala be advised that you can still get the discount by becoming a ride/walk/hike leader this year. For those members who look forward to riding in the Century be advised that the Elm City Cycling club, in conjunction with Arts and Ideas, in New Haven, in schedule to doing the New Haven Century on Saturday June 28th at 8:00 am. I’ll keep you posted.
