non-members are allowed to participate in only one ride
with the club as a non-member.

Always bike on the right side of the road in the same direction as traffic. Motorists don't expect wrong-way traffic.

Le: Leisurely - beginner\novice group ride

So: Social - fun group ride

Rc: Recreational - still fun, but aimed at the serious cyclist with experience

Tr: Training - hard work to improve cycling skills for advanced riders


Mt: Mountainous

Hl: Hilly

Rl: Rolling

Fl: Flat



Sw: Swept - Leader stays with slower riders

Rg: Regrouping - Leader stops and waits at points during the ride

Cu: Cue - sheet available

Map: Mapped - Riders are expected to follow maps or cue sheets

Pace: This represents the MINIMUM average speed of the ride.
